Chris told me a story a while ago:
There was these two handsome guys in MRT, standing up because there were no more seats. One of them was hugging the other from the back and said, "Sige nga, if mahal mo ako, kiss mo ko..." (Let's see, if you really love me, then kiss me), and the second guy kissed him in the lips.
Is society really OK with this kind of relationship already? Well, technically, everyone is aware of its existence in other countries. It's just, as we all know, and as we all have heard already, Philippines is a Christian country and homosexual relationship is still banned.
Anyway, I'm not going to talk about that same crap. I just realized how true the love is of those guys. Despite what other people may think of them, they stil showed how they love each other in public, and even shouts it out. Their love is above what the hundreds of people may think of them, which is... love.
How would society start accepting this and not make fun of it if we do not show it and we agree to their beliefs as these kinds of relationship as gooey or eewy or bad or illegal by hiding it and keeping it a secret. It's like the Salem witches scared and those who chose to profess their belief in magic were burned to death, yet, what we can say as heroes of the magic reality.
Am I just fuzzing about it and maybe those who does not like PDA (public display of affection) may argue with me? I think it is not PDA. It is more of telling the person you love you love him/her and I am ready to tell the world about it. Again, PDA is just another word by the unloved, conservative, and the hypocrites.
